In 2023 we got a boat! Towing has been part of our foil experience for 2 years now but in 2023 Ecuador Foil brought its own boat into the offerings in both Montañita and Santa Marianita, Ecuador. We have a number of waves up and down the coast including Santuary, Dos Torres, Labatorio, Faro, Tinosa and SM that we tow on all tides and swell directions throughout the year.
One of the best ways to learn to prone is behind the boat especially if you don't have kite foil or wake experience. Towing can shave weeks and months off the learning curve for prone and getting accustomed to new equipment.
Tow: $300 for up to 3 people for a 3-4 hour session. 10% discount if book 3 days or more.
As of October 2024 we are now offering Tow Foil in the Montañita area. We are excited to explore this part of the coast and open up new waves never surfed or foiled before with our new boat.
In 2025 we added a Tow Boogie to our list of toys. If you wan to boogie just let us know. Tow Boogie sessions start at $75 per hour and discount if we add hours and days. Currently we have 3 sets of batteries that are good for about 3.5 hours on a California boogie without GPS.
